Code Camp 4-Day

$599 Purchase required to enroll

All our camps are held at our sweet coding facility that provides a uniquely collaborative environment where kids work and code together, and have a rockin' fun summer together! We have camps for coders of all skill levels grouped by age. From our beginner-friendly "Game Dev" series for younger coders to our camps featuring Python or website technologies, we have something for everyone.

  • All camps are 9 am-3 pm at our Coder School Berkeley location at 1385 Shattuck Avenue, Suite C (across the street from the CVS parking lot)
  • Be sure to check skill and age requirements for each camp, as different topics are taught at different levels.
  • After Care is available from 3 pm to 6 pm for an additional $156 for 4-day camp weeks.
  • All kids should bring their own water bottle and lunch daily, as they will be escorted to Live Oak Park for lunch.
  • Our Summer Camps will include a daily hour of outdoor team-building activities (Mon-Thu) led by X-Fit Training of El Cerrito. Before lunch, we'll head over to Live Oak Park for some fun, active, cooperative games. We're happy to be partnering with X-Fit to promote an active and healthy lifestyle for all our campers.
  • Kids code throughout the week and get an awesome (included) lunch on Friday, then demo their week's creations later that afternoon.
Camp Descriptions
  • Game Dev (Ages 7-10): We'll be using cool drag n' drop languages like Scratch or Snap to create some awesome new and classic games! Aimed at our newbie and novice coders. Content will be different in Session A and Session B.
  • WebRox (Ages 9+): Everything's about the web these days, and that's why Web Rocks! Code with all the base web technologies like HTML/CSS and Javascript, learn how the internet and file transfers work, and get your pages uploaded to our servers for public viewing! Novice or intermediate coders.
  • Python Art (Ages 9+): Did you know Python doesn't just output text and numbers, it can make visual art too? In Python Art Camp, we'll deep-dive into the visual turtle library to make some gnarly, sometimes hypnotic designs and illustrations. In this camp, we will see how Python code can also be beautiful.

Cancellation policy Camp may be cancelled up to 45 days prior to first day of start of camp for a full refund. Cancellations made up to 30 days prior are eligible for a 50% refund.
